When and where
Selma’s 2026 community clean-up event is scheduled for October 29–31, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The city lists a new location at 1100 Valley View Street, with entry through Valley View Avenue. Residents should not assume the prior event location remains in use.
What residents may bring
The city lists furniture, appliances, metals, wood, electronics, green waste, general trash and mattresses. Loads should be separated before arrival, and participants must help unload. A current ID is required. There is a limit of one vehicle per address; dump trucks, dump trailers and loose items are not accepted. The largest permitted vehicle is a passenger truck or 12-foot trailer.
Tires and hazardous waste
The city says passenger tires cost $15 each and truck tires $30 each, cash only, and rims are not accepted. Some household hazardous waste cannot go into this collection; Fresno County can explain appropriate disposal at 559-600-4259. Check the city flyer before loading any questionable materials.
